Dr. Garnett Von Eiff
Doctor
Dr. Von Eiff is a co-owner of Southwest Animal Clinic.  He graduated from Texas A&M in 1966 with a B.S. in Veterinary Science and earned his D.V.M. in 1968.  He has been practicing veterinary medicine at Southwest Animal Clinic since 1968 and is a member of the HCVMA, TVMA, AVMA and has served as a board member for many veterinary organizations.  Dr. Von Eiff's special interests include surgery, internal medicine and ophthalmology.


Dr. Mark E Silberman
Doctor
Dr. Silberman is a co-owner of Southwest Animal Clinic.  He graduated from Texas A&M in 1978 with a B.S. in Veterinary Science and earned his D.V.M. in 1980.  He became an associate at Southwest Animal Clinic in 1983 and a partner in 1985.  Dr. Silberman is a member of the HCVMA, TVMA, AVMA and has served as a board member for many veterinary organizations.  He writes articles monthly for Houston PetTalk magazine and was voted "Veterinarian of the Year" by HCVMF in 1995. Dr. Silberman's special interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, Class IV Laser therapy and radiology.


Technician

Galina Bychkov

  Galina joined the SWAC team in 2000.  She was hired as a Veterianry Assistant but worked diligently at becoming an excellent Veterinary Technician.  Originally from Kiev, Ukraine, Galina graduated from Kiev's Economical University with a Bachelor degree in economics.  In the mid 1990's, she volunteered to work with the Hunting Dogs Owners Club in Kiev, where she assisted in organizing dog shows and providing hunting dog examinations.  Galina has experience in coordinating search efforts for lost pets as well as finding shelters for stray pets.  She is pictured with her dachshund, Bambi.  


 

Grooming

Ronald Edwards

   Ronald has been grooming for us for over 10 years.  He has his own bathing protocol that leaves his dogs and cats very soft to the touch and smelling great.  We offer a SPA nail treatment that insures shorter nails with no rough edges. If you want a bath, nail trim, ears cleaned and anal glands expressed, ask for a Bath Package for a savings of 15% off these sevices individually.

 

 

 


Veterinary Assistant and Animal Care Attendant Manager

Robert Rodriguez                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Robert has been with us since March of 2008.  He came with some veterinary assistant experience, but has continued to grow as an Animal Care Attendant and Veterinary Assistant.  Robert decided to take it upon himself to learn how to take and develop X-rays, run in-house blood work, draw blood samples and install intravenous catheters.  Consequently he has earned the position of VA and ACA Manager.  His dog "Chief", an American Stafforshire Terior,  is an adopted rescue.  He is a faithful Houston Spots fan and is quite accomplished as a basketball player.

Jennifer James
  We were lucky to find Jennifer in January of 2016.  She is a wonderful veterinary assistant as well as animal care provider. Jennifer attended Veterinary Technician Institute of Houston and is preparing for a career as a vet tech.

 

 


Reception

Tina Le Woo
  Tina started as our receptionist in 2002.  She is a graduate Hastings High School  and attended the University of Houston.   Being a serious cat lover she has two "four-legged children", Tiger and Fea.

 

 

 

Marie Olson
  Marie has been part of our family since 2004.  Originally from New Iberia, Louisiana where she graduated high school, she also attended Teche Area Vocational School.   She is an avid New Orleans Saints and LSU fan, but still roots for the Texans. Being a poodle enthusiast, Marie is very involved in dog showing.  Her three "four-legged children" are poodles, of course,  named Faith, Grayce and Henley.
